Your information, kept to what we need.
Privacy notice
The short version
We use your information only to run Mile Zero programs. Organisers and judges can see it. We never share it with sponsors, and we ask before using anyone's name, photo, recording or school in promotion.
What we collect
- Team registration: team name, school, each member's name, year group and school email, and your supervising staff member's name and school email. If you tell us a team member needs a reasonable adjustment, we collect that too.
- Toolkit, network and ambassador forms: the name, email, school and answers you give in the form.
- Competition work: the submissions your team makes, including recorded pitches.
Our forms run on Google Forms, and responses are stored in Google Sheets that only organisers can open.
How we use it
- To run the competition: sending stage times, case materials and results, and contacting your staff member if needed.
- To send the Starter Toolkit and updates you've asked for.
- To arrange reasonable adjustments you request.
Who can see it
- Mile Zero organisers and competition judges.
- Judges mark coded submissions and don't see school names while marking.
- We never share your information with sponsors or sell it to anyone.
Recorded pitches
Recorded pitches are kept securely, seen only by organisers and judges, and deleted after the competition ends.
Photos, names and promotion
We ask for consent before using any student's name, photo, recording or school information in promotional material, on this website or on social media.
Your choices
